Tower Remodel

This project included an extension and refurbishment of an existing house in Tower, Cork.

Our design modified the exterior roof and created the look of a modern wrap around extension to the front and side but we only actually created a small side extension.

The first floor was reconfigured to fit in a third bedroom without extending.

The house is wrapped in external insulation making it a very warm home. Airtightness upgrades were completed around existing window opes and to all elements of the new extension. Mechanical heat recovery ventilation was retrofitted throughout the house to ensure adequate ventilation.

The kitchen has an oak island and black kitchen units. Elements of this design are carried throughout the house so it ties it all together to tell a story.

This project is a good example of how you can reconfigure your existing spaces to better suit your needs and the way you live.
